LIVE on ESPN.com it's the 18th Annual USAFL Fantasy Football Draft!
Here we go again! We enter the 19th Season of the USAFL (thanks to some retconning and continuity fixes), but either way, the USAFL turns 19! We're barely legal everyone! No more curfews. Let's sign some contracts, vote, buy property, purchase a car or firearm, and establish some credit we can default on! Time for piercings, tattoos, and videos on TikTok we'll regret when trying to get a real job.
Jokes aside, let's get down to business. For the third, yes, third year in a row, Yankee Zulu took the title of the best of the worst after winning the Consultation Cup and earning the right to pick his spot in the draft. In 2019 and 2020, the Zulu Nation picked first and took Saquon Barkley and Christian McCaffery... and got him to the 7th best team in the league both seasons. What will they do this season? Pick first again of course. When asked about his odds this season, General Manager Dave H. stated, "I will take 1st pick and 1st place."
Shades of Matt Hasleback, but you have to appreciate the testicular fortitude demonstrated by the seventh-year team. Special thanks to https://www.draftordergenerator.com/ who provided the random selections for this year's draft.
Looking down the list, Hawks Bench and the Deer Antler Addicts are picking at their highest position in team history. It was way back in 2013 and more recently in 2019 when HB selected fourth overall. For the Addicts, they have picked in the top 10 once back in 2018, when they selected fourth overall.
The reigning, defending, undisputed, four-peat, and five championships overall World's Finest sits directly in the middle of the pack at six. GM Dave S. has a knack for picking players who play at or above average during the season but turn up the volume during the playoffs. Last, but not least, the newest addition to the USAFL who took over for Emily N's Team with No Name, the Southern Delaware Wood Ducks will get the 12th and 13th pick in their very first draft.
Stay tuned for more updates, the 2021 schedule release, and upgrades to the website!
