Week 13 Preview: 11 Teams Still in it!

With two weeks to play 11 teams still have playoff hopes. The championship campaign for Takada Monster Army is over but they can still play the spoiler against Hawk's Bench this week as a single loss will eliminate them from a playoff berth.

With somewhere around a 1% chance, the Koalas need to win their next two and require losses outright from teams with 5 wins or higher and a major offensive points boost to get a wildcard spot. Meanwhile, Ebola, who started out 3-0, hasn't faired that well within the inter-divisional play, taking only 2 wins out of their last nine games. They still have a chance at a wildcard spot and the division title if they can win their next two and some funny things happen along the way with Vinegar Strokes and the Ducks.

No easy road for the Ducks and Strokes as a Wild Card spot for the Commonwealth Division remains far from a guarantee. The win will give one team sole possession of first place and a tie will put Ebola just half a game back from the division lead.

D.C. Whitefish are still on the hunt for a division title and need a win over the Addicts this week to keep pace with World's Finest. Both teams have their hands full this week as they are playing two hungry wildcard contenders who desperately need these wins to keep championship hope alive.

The main event is certainly a heavyweight bought as the top two teams in the U.S. Division faceoff. A win means a Division and a Regular Season Championship for Nash Kato. This will be their sixth regular-season championship and their second in four seasons. Yankee Zulu has clinched a playoff berth already, a franchise first, after being the best of the worst the last three seasons in the Consultation Cup Tournament.

This week will surely end some championship dreams, but I doubt we will have a completely clear playoff picture until the end of Week 14.
